Ashleigh is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in NC (#12392A). She has received a Masters of Arts in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Additionally, Ashleigh has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator.

Ashleigh began her counseling career working with groups, adolescents, and adults experiencing homelessness in a nonprofit setting. Though she enjoys the nonprofit setting, private practice brings the enjoyment of deeper counseling relationships. She has experience counseling clients across a range of issues and is passionate about working with anxiety, trauma, adoption related issues, self-image/esteem, mild to moderate depression, and relational issues. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Gottman approaches, among others.

Ashleigh approaches counseling by seeing each individual with inherent value that is deserving to be seen, heard, and understood. Healing takes place with the whole person in mind, attending to psychological, physiological, emotional, social, and spiritual facets of the person. Ashleigh’s education focused on an integrated approach, which intersected clinical approaches with Biblical principles. Upon request, she is able to provide counseling from a Biblical perspective.

Ashleigh lives in the Raleigh area and is open to meeting clients in person and online. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, taking long walks on the greenway, exploring new restaurants and cities, drinking coffee with friends, and playing music. She looks forward to walking alongside you through this season of life.
