Ashleigh began her counseling career in January 2022 working with groups, adolescents, and adults in a nonprofit setting. She has experience counseling clients across a range of issues and finds enjoyment in working with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, mild to moderate depression, and relational issues.
Ashleigh is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in NC (#12392A). She has received a Masters of Arts in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Additionally, Ashleigh has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
As a counselor, Ashleigh approaches counseling by seeing each individual with inherent value that is deserving to be seen, heard, and understood. Healing takes place with the whole person in mind, attending to psychological, physiological, emotional, social, and spiritual facets of the person. Ashleigh’s education focused on an integrated approach, which intersected counseling theories with Biblical principles. Upon request, she is able to provide counseling from a Biblical perspective.
Ashleigh has been in the Raleigh area since 2017. She enjoys nature, music, and exploring new places. She looks forward to walking alongside you through this season of life.
