Carolyn is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate specializing in nutrition and person-centered wellness. Carolyn graduated from East Carolina University with a Masters of Science in Counselor Education, a certificate in Biofeedback, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Carolyn is now currently enrolled at Meredith College’s Master of Science in Nutrition program to become a registered dietitian. 

 

Carolyn works with women18 years and older. Her interest areas include women's mental health, nutrition education, the eight dimensions of wellness, sleep hygiene, developing work/school/life balance, creating personalized wellness routines, and adult children of alcoholics. 

 

Carolyn believes that wellness encompasses every aspect of a person and should be approached holistically. She is passionate about women's mental health. She believes that health is individualized and that foods should be enjoyed while fueling us to live a full life. Her foundation is one of self-love and taking care of basic needs. She seeks to provide a safe and healing environment for her clients to develop into the best version of themselves. 

 

Carolyn enjoys gardening, cooking, weightlifting, and spending time with her husband, Austin.
