Alexa Hart

Alexa has worked in the medical, mental health, and insurance fields since 2020, developing a strong foundation in healthcare operations and client support. She joined Cornerstone Counseling and Wellness in 2023 as a Billing Specialist. Through her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence, she advanced to Billing Team Lead and now serves as Billing Manager, where she oversees billing operations and supports both clients and clinicians with efficiency and care.

 

She earned an educational certificate in American Sign Language Interpreting and Deaf Studies as well as Baby Sign Instruction in 2015 from Virginia Highlands Community College and Sign2Me. In 2025, she completed her Associate of Arts degree at Wayne Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from University of Maine at Presque Isle. Her educational background reflects her commitment to communication, leadership, and continuous personal and professional growth.

 

Outside of her professional life, she is a devoted wife and proud mother of two boys, as well as a loving fur-mom to three cats and a golden retriever. She is passionate about family, art, music, equality, kindness, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. In her free time, she enjoys creating art, learning new languages, developing new skills, and spending quality time with her family through watching shows or movies and playing video games together.
