Carly is a graduate student in Texas Tech University’s Masters of Mental Health Counseling Program. She previously graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in English and Minor in Communications before working as a healthcare advocate prior to her Master’s program.
Carly believes in collaborating with her clients on their journey to holistic wellness, and desires that her clients feel empowered by the therapeutic relationship. She values a warm and authentic counseling dynamic that takes into account the uniqueness of each client’s story when approaching treatment.
Her areas of interest include: trauma & dissociation, complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, infertility, and women’s issues.
In her spare time Carly loves hanging out with her husband and Shiba Inu, gardening, beekeeping, and baking. Her volunteer work includes mentoring college students at her church, serving on the Advisory Committee for Beauty after Bruises (a nonprofit providing advocacy to those with complex trauma), and the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation’s Member Engagement Committee.
