Emma Kate Greene

Emma Kate holds a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education with focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Carolina University, and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate in NC (License #A22099). In 2022 she completed a Bachelor of

Science degree in Political Science, along with a double minor in Human Development and Family Science.

 

During her practicum and internship experience, Emma Kate served children, teens, and adults in an outpatient community mental health setting. She enjoys working with individuals who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or academic challenges, including those who are navigating traumatic situations in their lives, whether it be a divorce, death, a parent with terminal illness, or bullying. She has a special interest in working with foster and adopted children. She uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to guide her clients and to prepare them with coping skills so they can manage their situation and grow through it. Her goal is to become trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and other evidence based, trauma-informed interventions in order to more effectively support her clients and help them heal.

 

Emma Kate enjoys reading, crafting, spending time with friends, and hanging out with her family and dogs in her free time.
