Katelyn is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina State University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2023 at North Carolina State University. She loves the Wolfpack!
Katelyn is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming space where each client feels seen, supported, and empowered. She takes a person-centered and collaborative approach, integrating evidence-based practices including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Katelyn understands the importance of faith and is willing to integrate it into your counseling process upon request.
Katelyn enjoys working with teens, adults, and couples. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief, body image, eating disorders, women’s issues, premarital counseling, relationships, life transitions, and trauma.
In her free time, Katelyn enjoys spending time with her husband. They love to travel and attend NC State football games. Katelyn also enjoys reading, trying different restaurants and coffee shops in the area, and crafting.
