Rachel graduated from East Carolina University with a Master of Social Work degree in 2022. Prior to graduate school, she worked as the Wellness Coordinator for a retirement community, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 2014. She has experience in both private practice and community mental health settings working with individuals and groups with mental health and addictions diagnoses. 

 

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate in NC. She is passionate about helping people heal and develop their connection to themselves and others in a holistic way. She believes that healing occurs when we address the whole person including emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual health. 

 

Rachel values our ability to connect with our stories and integrate all aspects of ourselves (body, mind, and soul) to help us grow. She applies a collaborative approach to counseling and focuses on creating a therapeutic relationship centered on trust and respect. Her desire is that all of her clients feel safe and known. Her scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-esteem, addictions, relational problems, and adjustment disorders. 

 

Rachel enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She has been married to her husband Josh since 2015 and they have one dog named Luna.
