Sarah is committed to partnering with clients to pursue growth and healing. Sarah’s counseling reflects a holistic approach, as she believes all people are biological, psychological, social, and spiritual beings. Her counseling approach is an eclectic approach, based upon theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Child-Centered Play Therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Biblical counseling is integrated into counseling upon request.

Sarah enjoys working with children and families in challenging circumstances, such as Autism, Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), special needs parents and families, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and foster care and adoption, trauma, or life transitions. Sarah also desires to work with adolescents, adults, and/or couples with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic illness, life transitions, women’s issues, relationship challenges, and pre-marriage or marriage counseling. Sarah is certified in Prepare Enrich Premarital and Marriage Counseling, and enjoys walking alongside couples to pursue growth and healing in their relationships.

In her free time, Sarah likes to spend time outdoors, enjoying a cup of coffee, serving in her church, baking, or listening to music. Sarah is accepting new clients in person at the Raleigh location, and is open to telehealth upon request.
